Christopher P. Monterosso



Christopher P. Monterosso practices in the areas of Workers’ Compensation, Social Security Disability and Bankruptcy Law.
Christopher P. Monterosso is a native New Yorker who received his J.D. from New York Law School in 2012 where he worked as a Court Evaluator on Article 81 guardianships and was published on the Law Review for his article: Ezperanza: Changes in Juvenile Justice No, 56 N.Y.L. SCH. L. REV. 2012. He served as Editor-in-Chief of JustFamilies.org, New York Law School’s Family Law Blog. Also while at New York Law School, he was an active member of the Diane Abbey Center for Children and Families. Mr. Monterosso is admitted to practice in New Jersey and is an active member of the City Bar Association where he sits on the “Legal Problems of the Aging” Committee.
Prior to Law School, Mr. Monterosso received his B.A. from Colgate University in 2009 in Poltical Science and Religion. He was a member of the Rowing Team where he participated in three national championships and the Henley Royal Regatta in Henley-on-Thames, England. He also received honors as a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science honor society and as a member of the Colgate Athletic Honor Roll. Also while at Colgate University, Mr. Monterosso worked for Legal Aid helping the indigent file for Chapter 7 Bankruptcies.
